Characteristics of LN©ü |
What is LN©ü? |
Nitrogen is a gas element as a 2nd molecule that accounts for 80% of air volume, and is obtained through fractional distillation of liquid air or fractional liquefaction of air.
Liquid nitrogen is colorless, odorless, and tasteless, and its boiling point is at -196¡É under 1 atmosphere pressure.
Moreover, it is transparent, featuring high mobility. Except that it is basically used for materials of ammonia synthesis, Nitrogen with its other features such as inactivity and super lowest liquid have been highly demanded in the chemical, steel, and electronic industries.
Moreover, Nitrogen as a liquid for safe cooling is extensively applied to even food engineering.

Condition for LN©ü pipe system |
Necessary condition of LN©üpipe
system |
¡¤ High thermal blocking |
¡¤ Cool Down Loss needs to be less, and the opening time of liquid spray should be short after operation. |
¡¤ Convenience and changeability of construction |
Thermal efficiency |
¡¤ If the thermal blocking performance is not enough, LN©üis changed into gas which results as operating cost increase. |
¡¤ VBC¡¯s Semiflex pipe becomes cooled and stabilized as quick as possible, it shows less thermal loss. |
(0.9BTU/HR / Foot for 1/2" Pipe) |
Cool Down losses |
¡¤ In calculating the operating cost, the most important thing is the amount of LN©ü that is required to cool the inside pipe from the normal temperature down to -196¡É degrees. |
¡¤ As only Teflon Spacer is contained inside the VBC¡¯s Semiflex pipe, the inside pipe is cooled down quickly; the loss of heat is less. |
Convenience and changeability of construction |
¡¤ VBC¡¯s Semiflex Pipe is bendable, able to be moved and installed easily when equipment is shift. |
